Riffster
Money talks, BS walks... I saw the guitar earlier today and like it quite a bit, not crazy about the solid black back but I like the rest. It reminds me of Joe Perry's signature. Nickelback, well, meh

Jeff-7
Hahaha "The Most Versatile Artist in Rock" I laughed when I saw that too. Crying shame such a good looking axe has to carry that moniker.
Artie Owl
haha 3.6 probably for no other reason other than it's Chad. Anyway doesn't affect how I like Gibsons any. As it's been said, money talks, it's not like they're punching orphan's kittens or anything.
Riffster
Hahaha "The Most Versatile Artist in Rock" I take it you have not heard his blues CD , it is all on the same key or at least sounds like it, it does not have any solos either, pretty much just like Nickelback's music. Rocky4
I didn't know who he was until I saw link. When will we see a Bud Jones Les Paul?
Laaz
Gibson is going to try and cash in on anything they think might have a chance of making a buck. This should go over as well as the Sammy Hagar Les Paul. Let's come up with a new company slogan called "The A.R.T. of management" and see how much smoke we can blow up or customers @sses. Andre S
Looks pretty cool. I would buy it and change the TRC so it wouldn't be associated with CK unless it passes through a fanboy club
MojoRedFoot
Looks pretty cool. I would buy it and change the TRC so it wouldn't be associated with CK unless it passes through a fanboy club I had the same thought. You know what though? They released the Aaron Lewis Signature, Billy Joe. Hack after hack after hack. Why not give one to one of the Jonas Bros. Gibson?
FirstMeasure
They need to come out with a relic "Rock Battered" version, I would actually actually buy one. It's kind of fitting for a Kroeger signature model. It's a darker version of Joe Perry's LP, and that's about as original as Kroeger's music. Very fitting, indeed. I would buy it and change the TRC so it wouldn't be associated with CK unless it passes through a fanboy club I'm personally not into sig models, this idea would be a good one if it weren't for the extra change you're throwing at it because it's a Chad Kroeger sig. Yup. I love everything to do with the guitar except it being a sig model and of course the associated price and especially dislike that its a CHAD KROEGER sig. Witmer
I'd never spend the extra money for a sig guitar if I could get the look and features from a different one. But this is actually a pretty cool looking axe. I also don't hate Nickelback... they're kind of a guilty pleasure for me when the radio plays 'em. BUT - that guy has been a PRS player from day 1! That tone they said "screams Les Paul" ... well, it doesn't. It screams PRS -> Mesa Boogie. I was cool with the rest, but these marketing guys have gotta' learn when to quit... retrosurfer1959
Guitar looks alright, but some how World Dominating and Chad Kroeger are two phrases I never thought i'd see together in a Gibson add. I'm holding out for the Jonas Brother and Mylie Cyrus love child signature model.

Corrosion of conformity
I can understand the Billie Joe Armstrong signature, because the Les Paul Jr. is a pretty unique guitar, but I can't understand this. Why not just give everyone who plays a Les Paul a signature model? It does look very cool.
Tman5293
I personally think that the top on that Les Paul looks badass. I really don't have any problem with it being Chad's. Would like to see some better signature guitars though. On second thought, how about less signature models and more new models or reissues. I frankly don't care at all what another guitarist uses, it's his and it's his style, not mine. I wanna see some new guitar models! I want what I wanna play not what some other guitarist plays just because he's famous!

flyingarmadillo
I thought the part about "... a GraphTech™ Ghost® piezo bridge and related electronics provide an authentic acoustic guitar sound ..." was interesting. Guess it must be pretty heavily chambered to make it sound like an acoustic!
