Dub-T-123
I was watching the tube when the big brown truck rolled up today. I was so excited.. So I open the box and there it is. My Fuzz Factory  I ran to my room and plugged it in and let it rip. And I have to say.. After just playing with it for like an hour, this is without a doubt the coolest, best pedal I've ever played (let alone owned). It was pretty pricey.. I practically blew anentire paycheck on it but I can already tell it was totally worth it. It's actually not as hard to use as I thought it would be. I started out with one of the recommended settings and worked from there (the comp knob is SO COOL). Of course I still have a lot of learning to do. So here are some pics (excuse the quality.. They're total quick and dirtys) Heres the pic from the R&R Vintage site Heres my shot of the front My shot of the back It's beautiful guts (I'll post a more detailed shot later)

Dub-T-123
Thanks man I love the artwork too. It was the coolest one I could find. It's 1/1 so I'm the only guy with that paintjob which I think is kindof cool. Beyond the artwork it's just an awesome pedal though. I highly recommend it! The Box of Rock is awesome. Total Marshall in a box sweetness. I love the boost too. I can definately see myself buying more ZVex pedals. The Tremorama and Ringtone are also calling my name. Honestly I want every pedal they make. Neo - Yeah the thread title is pretty misleading. Sorry. I'll hit you up if I get busted haha

Dub-T-123
People sometimes refer to the police as "the fuzz". For anyone else with a Fuzz Factory, I found this list of settings on Harmony Central. You'll notice there are only 4 knob settings. The list excludes settings for the volume knob because you can set that for unity gain or however you want. I like it cranked up. So the settings are starting at gate instead of volume. 60's Fuzz 2:00 8:30 3:00 5:00 Arpegio 12:00 3:00 3:00 3:00 Bonkers Fuzz (1) 2:00 2:00 11:00 3:00 Bonkers Fuzz (2) 1:00 1:00 11:00 3:00 Clean Fuzz 5:00 2:00 11:00 5:00 Clean to OD 5:00 2:00 10:00 5:00 Fizzy Fizz 10:00 1:00 11:00 12:00 Fuzz Bright 1:00 12:00 1:00 4:00 Fuzz Distortion 12:00 12:00 3:00 9:00 Fuzz Mellow 1:00 12:00 1:00 9:00 Fuzz Splutter 3:00 12:00 3:00 9:00 Fuzz Squeal 9:00 12:00 3:00 9:00 Hi-Compression 3:00 9:00 5:00 5:00 Hi-Octane 2:00 to 3:00 7:00 7:00 5:00 IYW 2:00 3:00 4:00 5:00 Juice Face 12:00 12:00 12:00 12:00 Mellow Mud 2:30 7:00 7:00 9:00 Metal Distortion 4:00 10:30 7:00 5:00 Modulated Mud Fuzz 12:00 11:00 5:00 7:00 Modulated Sticky 12:00 1:00 5:00 7:00 Modulated Sticky Fuzz 9:00 3:00 9:00 3:00 Muse-esque 2:30 3:15 5:00 5:00 No-Name Fuzz 1:00 11:00 2:00 7:00 No-Name Fuzz 10:00 7:00 12:00 5:00 OD / Fuzz 7:00 7:00 7:00 5:00 OD Squeal 7:00 12:00 3:00 3:00 Pitch Drop 7:00 12:00 5:00 7:00 Please Fuzz 12:00 7:00 3:00 2:00 Punky 2:30 - 3:30 7:00 7:00 5:00 Random Fuzz 1:30 7:00 5:00 4:00 (approx) Resonant Fuzz 7:00 7:00 12:00 4:00 Smashing Pumpkins-esque 2:00 9:00 5:00 10:00 Soft Fuzz 1:00 7:00 7:00 Variable Spastic Muff 5:00 7:00 5:00 5:00 Squaler 9:00 9:00 9:00 9:00 Squealer Fuzz (2) 7:00 8:00 1:00 7:00 Static / Low 12:00 12:00 5:00 7:00 Stooges Fuzz 3:00 7:00 3:00 5:00 Super-Heavy 3:00 9:00 5:00 5:00 Sweet Sustain 1:00 7:00 10:00 1:30 Traditional Fuzz 9:00 7:00 11:00 to 1:00 11:00 to 1:00 Traditional Fuzz (1) 9:00 7:00 1:00 5:00 Traditional Fuzz (2) 2:00 7:00 3:00 5:00 Velcro 7:00 5:00 5:00 2:00 Weezer-esque 2:30 7:00 7:00 5:00 Whale 7:00 1:00 5:00 9:00 What the Fuzz? 7:00 7:00 5:00 5:

NeoConMan
Yup, cops showed up at my place one day long time back, kicked the door in, guns drawn and everything !!!!!! Hmmmmm.... They've always called me first. To see if I was home I suppose . . . Even the Eff Bee Eye called from up the road. They came on down, rang the bell, came on in and sat at the kitchen table. Nice guys actually - very professional. Same with the Aay Tee Eff.

pete c
i was waiting to read about the cops showing up myself too early i guess. this might be a dumb question but do you have to pull the back off it to change the battery? or does it have a door in the back? Dub-T-123
You have to unscrew the 4 screws on the bottom and remove the plate to access the battery. The pedal is designed to use very little power so a battery will last several months. It also seems to sound a little better with a battery. Dub-T-123
By the way I don't think I'll ever get through that list. I did the 60s fuzz setting and got stuck on it for like an hour and a half. That setting rocks. Just enough fuzz at full volume (on the guitar) for lead tones without being too over the top and it cleans up beautifully with the guitars volume. It's so responsive. I didn't think it would be that great for low gain fuzz but its amazing at it. Fred - You seriously have to get one of these. I don't think you know how much you love this pedal lol. EVOL!
Glad you are digging the FuzzFactory. I love mine. Only regret was not getting it at my normal pedal shop so I could get a custom paint job too. Love the graphic on yours.

Dub-T-123
Thanks evol. I'm obsessed with this thing right now! Fred- I was gonna recommend that you do that. The Vexter series (the kind GC has) is made in Taiwan. I don't know if that bothers you.. Hey my MXR pedal is MIT and I love it. The Vexter series has identical electronics (including NOS GE trannies) so it will sound the same. Chase- Yeah I'm using the super heavy duty battery that it came with. I've never heard of the brand of the battery before. Joaquin- I don't have any wifebeaters. If I did, I'd have definately been wearing one though! Neo- You'd probably be an amazing lawyer now that I think about it. I'm sure you have a lot of knowledge of the legal system and we all know how good you are at winning arguements.
