cunningham26
Finally got the guitar I've been dreaming about since I first wanted to play guitar. Been shopping around, but when this one came up I knew it was THE one. Special thanks to brianh and jerrymac for getting me through some jitters and teaching me about the changeover from Samick to Peerless! '97, Peerless (MIK) made, 5-piece neck. Love that the sunburst goes a bit into the upper bouts, looks a little more vintage correct. Now off to play Oasis songs for the rest of the weekend! BillyGibson
That's stunning. Congratulations. I looked at an '89 Sheraton II yesterday - Natural. It was probably a fine guitar for being 22 years old. I passed on it for various reasons. The intent was we would make a trade. My Casino for his Sheri. He actually wanted cash in addition. It could be the age of the sheri, but the quality build of my made in China ('09) seemed better than the '89. Or at least it was the same. Your's give me continued hope that one day I will find one. Until them, I'll have to be patient. Which I was supposed to have learned by this stage in life. But man, your's gets my heart racing. It's beautiful. mydeadblues
First off HNGD! Did you get this off eBay? I was browsing sheratons and noticed a lighter MIK sheraton a week or two back...Most are more of an antique burst but I guess that's the Samick sunburst opposed to the Peerless. Beautiful guitar, I like how the burst goes into the cutter aways it looks more like the elitist finish rather than the newer MIC. Congrats and enjoy! BlueEpiphone
HNGD! That is stunning. So much binding...enough for three lesser guitars! Are you going to be "sick" this Monday?
cunningham26
Thanks guys! It's a real stunner; I've been playing it pretty much non-stop all weekend. the pups sound amazing, they're the originals but of course all the gold is gone. Absolutely huge range to be dialed in right on board, i've been switching from a jazzy sound to rock to blues with the flip of the switch or turn of the knob. Love it. only issue so far is that one fret is coming up a bit causing buzz, just got to get it banged back into place when I do a string change/set up. Blue, I wish I could spend valentine's with my new main squeeze, but alas, duty calls. and brianh, this one's for you
