no one seems to know... but i'll be the first to admit they are ugly (i put it in the so ugly it's cool category) and not surprised they didn't last long. no lock, very solid and i'm not afraid to nick it up.

I had that kinda case in the mid 80's with my SG. Wish I still had it. Fast neck. I know a guy who has that kinda case for his LP.
I remember the handle was comfy to carry.

flyingarmadillo - Yes, bass counts. Those are my favorite and if I played bass that is what I would have.

My SG Special Ltd, mod'd to the hilt. Latest update was the addition of the P-94 in the neck.
