  1. I bought a new Tribute in 18, it was $800. It was ok, just didn't ooze much quality, seemed dull playing and sounding. I sold it a bought an Epiphone. The Epi instantly felt better. They really are great guitars.
  2. Nice job, be cool to find a stream of abused instruments to rebuild. I think you could make decent money, and get to play with guitars all day.
  3. I'm liking the new finish, has a classic look.
  4. Very nice photo. Glad to hear the Epiphone can somewhat hold it's own.
  5. Wow....very nice! Awesome rendition, and a great cause, thank you.
  6. It sure looks nice, and your write up was wonderful....thanks. Enjoy that fine guitar.
  7. I bought a new 2017 Gibson LP Tribute, it was $800usd. It just didn't seem to be finished very good. I know it's their cheapest LP, but I wasn't impressed, just felt dull. I sold it and bought a used, mint 2015 Epiphone LP Traditional Pro Plus Top, it was $300. It instantly felt better, the action felt better, lively. To me it just feels like a much more refined guitar. So lately, I've been. looking at Epi instead of Gibson. I'm looking at an older acoustic.

  10. Exceptional player, just a little too clean or precise to me.
  11. Very nice playing Jazzman, great guitar sound.
  12. Here's a fumed thread asking the same thing....https://www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?threads/music-force-in-korea-any-expereiences.1810182/
  13. That would get more than a "hmmm" from me! I would probably be on the phone to a realtor!!
  14. I guess all you can do then is hope they stay safe.
  15. From Epiphone...Your guitar was made at the Unsung Plant, Korea on July, 2003 Production Number: 315 Looks like an SG Standard 61' model. They're around $500 new today. Someone with more knowledge on older Epiphone guitars might know more about it.
  16. Yes it's extra sad when your loved ones can't even see you.
