It just keeps going; last night the singer stopped the rehearsal and mysteriously called a break a bit early. Then he completely surprised me with a cake with candles - and I blew 'em all out in one - a card which read 'Congratulations on reaching 100' ("we couldn't find a 60 one" - ha! ha! of course not!) signed by all, and bottles of beer for everyone. Today I visited another musician friend and he cooked lunch; by far the best sirloin steak I ever tasted, just beautiful with potato dauphinoise and peas...wow .
