Last night - mushrooms fried in butter on toast.

 

Mushrooms are very nice indeed once in awhile and filling as well.

 

Tonight; it's Friday, so....

 

Plaice and chips. Salt. Vinegar. Tomato sauce.

 

Beer.

 

 

I've got some large field mushrooms all over the property ATM.

On an impulse we went to a local pub for tea last night, hear that it had improved under new ownership!

 

I had a massive Chicken Parmiagana (More like an Emu, do chooks even grow that big?) and Gael had Veal Scallopini that she raved about.

 

We'll be back!

Wife and I are in Hong Kong. Had Dim Sum in the provence where it was invented. I usually try not to eat too many carbs. Couldn't resist tonight. Also sautéed snow pea sprouts. Unbelievable good. Walked outside to a monsoon downpour. Fantastic and unique night for a couple of Californians.
