merciful-evans
I just bought a Fender Tweed Lead :) Other than that, I have a Tweed jacket, but that doesn't count right?
pippy
Other than that, I have a Tweed jacket, but that doesn't count right?... Oh, absolutely! Genuine Harris Tweed? Burgundy-hued Orb label? Single vent? Double vent? Leather 'Knot' buttons? 2 or 3? Heather-Mix Twill? Or 'Other'?... In the world of textile nothing machine-made beats Harris Tweed for Outdoor Pursuits. Absolutely NOTHING. That's why Buzz Aldrin and Louis Armstrong wore Harris Tweed spacesuits for the first successful attempt on conquering the summit of Everest The Moon. QED... Pip. surfpup
Genuine Harris Tweed? With the Burgundy-hued Orb label? Single vent? Double vent? Leather 'Knot' buttons? 2 or 3? Heather-Mix Twill? Or 'Other'?... In the world of textile nothing machine-made beats Harris Tweed for Outdoor Pursuits. Absolutely NOTHING. I have been lucky enough to find a couple in second hand stores for $5! pippy
I congratulate you, Surf. All joking aside there really is (almost) nothing comparable to genuine Harris Tweed! Pip.

pippy
That really does look like a Labour of Love, BBP. Beautiful work. Just out of curiosity have you worked out roughly how long it takes to cut, assemble and finish a cabinet from scratch? Pip.
Riffster
The first and just about only tweed job I did. I never modified the amp though, it is stock, for a long time now I'd been thinking of selling it since I do not use it.
Dub-T-123
I have one of those Champ 600s and yeah they sound like shite. So noisy. Love your rehousing job though Is that gonna be a 5F2A or 5F1 BBP?

Y Two Heather-Mix Twill? Or 'Other'?... uuhhh?? dunno! Imagine an Orb label on a Fender speaker grill. That would be uber-cool right?

badbluesplayer
Here's the Tweed Pro Junior being played by the owner, Billy Crawford. He's the gentleman on the left playing the 335/345 thru the small tweed amp. This is the Wallace Coleman band. Wallace was Robert Lockwood Jr.'s harp player for like 25 years. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jeuNjDZiPLw
