I actually got in my brand new (to me) Made In Corona, California LED bulb yesterday, but I spent all evening woodshedding it, and lost track of time. Shipped in just three days from Sweetlighter. Some famous player named 'Philips' signature, she apparently is. She's in an Antique Appliance White finish, and the socket threads are like butter. 800 Lumens, 10 watts, 2,700 K on my ohms meter. Thinking of modding it, but can't decide whether the factory PCB is good enough, or if I want to upgrade it to the Seymour Darken heat sink. Oh well, I got time, I reckon. Can anybody tell me if it's counterfeit or not? I hate to think I might've taken a bath on this one. Whitefang It's a long tenon Tone Light®, according to my lighting luthier. Same quality specs as 12AX7s, EL34s, and even KT66s. Punk bands and late '60's bands were open to interesting band names. Back in the "day" ('67-'69) the band I was in changed it's name every month or twice a month or so. As we weren't a "gigging" band, it didn't matter. Every five minutes the bulb manufacturer brings out another model of the same bulb with a different name, and and in order to keep up, they all just gotta, just really, really gotta buy one of the new ones, lest they fall behind.
