deepblue
Last night Satch gave Conan his guitar after the song. Pretty cool stuff. The drummer was wearing a Conan wig and had on a t-shirt that said "Im not Will Ferrell" lol
deepblue
I saw it on youtube, to much ear candy on the guitar (IMO) but a great guitar player. Im with you on that too.....Satch is a great guitar player, but not my cuppa!
KSG_Standard
Van Hagar with a little different style on the guitar...I have to say though, that I liked it...

The Fool on The Hill
To tell you the truth the only thing that was semi-alright in that band was Satrianis Guitar playing, They sound like a Van Halen tribute band to me.
NeoConMan
I'll have to get the album. I've been a big Sammy fan since his Montrose days - seen him many times. Aside from that little Van Halen detour he took, he's done some great stuff over the years! :-) I'm kidding, some of the Van Halen stuff was pretty good.... deepblue
Least Joe's playing isn't all that predictable as EVH playing is. All that tapping got boring after a while. Agreed, and Satch has all of his tongue.
recsec
I hate to date myself but I have both of Montrose's albums. (Vinyl) I have enjoyed just about everything Sammy has done. I also have just about all of Satch's albums and some of those are vinyl. I have always enjoyed their work seprately and in my opinion they sound great together. MikeRom
I've been a big Sammy fan since his Montrose days - seen him many times. Funny, I haven't been a big fan of Sammy's since Montrose except for a song or two here and there. Heavy Metal Noise I Can't Drive 55 The two exceptions -
FirstMeasure
I want to hear the rest of the album. I liked the song they played on Conan, but it's obviously written as a single. I want to hear the B-Side stuff. As for them sounding like a Van Halen Tribute Band??? They sounded like a Rock Band fronted by Sammy Hagar. Anthony's playing was way more loose and up front, and Satriani was playing a good minimalist rhythm through most of it. I can't put into words how Un-Van Halen that was.
