MojoRedFoot
Does Axl Rose really even count? When you went to a GnR show, you had a 80% chance of seeing him get pissed and stopping the show well before they were 1/2 way through the set. He is such a diva. freak show
IMO Mick Jagger and Michael Stipe are both very charismatic frontmen.
LT ED
As an absolute power house Ronnie must be up there. What about Meatloaf.
swleary
I don't understand people voting Bon Scott over Brian Johnson. I mean seriously' date=' he only did like what, two records aith AC/DC. The songs pretty much everyone knows AC/DC for are all Brian Johnson era, not Bon Scott. [/quote'] The way the story goes is, Bon loved Brain Johnson's work that he was doing with another band. Bon introduced Ac/Dc to Brian. When Bon Died, the band went after Brian because they thought that is what Bon would want. I think that is why Bon would be picked ahead of Brian Johnson...If it wasn't for Bon, probably wouldn't be an AC/DC like you know them now or maybe not even around. heymisterk
I'm not a huge fan of his music, but I have to agree with James Brown. In terms of music I love, none of the front men are on there: Mick Jagger Eddie Vedder Robert Plant Chris Robinson Roger Daltrey

Silverbursted
The poll should specify musicianship or showmanship. One of the most influential frontmen must be Ronnie James Dio (RIP). Haven't seen any mention of Bruce Dickinson, shameful.
