Anubis Posted September 7, 2010 Share Posted September 7, 2010 Now that we have a traditional club, I thought it should only be fair that the customs get to shine! Here is my 1993 Wine Red Custom. My dad bought me this guitar last week as a present for graduating college. His friend from work sold it to him for $1500. What a surprise! This is my first American made guitar and it plays and sounds like a dream! I bought one just like that but with the original chrome hardware back in 1979 or '80. Bought at the Chicago Music Company. Were those particularly good years for Les Pauls? I still have it in the original hard shell case. Side note, on a flight from Chicago to Miami (ca. 1981) I didn't want to check it as baggage(duh!) so it wouldn't fit under the seat. So, here's the group, again. 1980 LP Custom, Cherry Sunburst, Plain top (Front Row, Center) The "Plastic" was changed to cream colored, although I still have all the original black parts.
