Thundergod
I don't care for either. So I wouldn't mind if they had killed one another some 40 years ago. Really. While at it, throw the beatles in the same wood case and throw all of them (beatles, page and hendrix) into the sea.
zigzag
I love Page, but I voted for Hendrix. For me, it's not even close.

SG fan 420
Hendrix, in his prime was awesome, so that''s how I voted. There really is no best, it's all subjective. In my book Clapton comes before Page, but my opinion and .65 will buy you a soda[biggrin]
LPguitarman
I voted Page. After seeing a LZ Tribute band last week, it made me respect his LP & overall guitar playing even more.
EVOL!
Hands down it's Hendrix. He put the word electric in electric guitar. Page get's a nod for his early sonic assault days and his killer tone throughout the years. I am a little bias since I am not a big Zeppelin fan. Love the music to death, but cannot get past how much I hate Plant's voice and lyrics. How about re-releasing the entire Zeppelin catalog instrumental?
