Just Strum
This is one of those stupid threads and just me venting over something stupid. Where the he77 do picks go???? I have to lose 3 or 4 a week. I love my 1.0 Stubby's and they are all gone. I also had a nice "V" pick and it is gone. I finally solve the matching sock thing and now this. My [now deceased] kitty cat used to use them as hockey pucks on the wooden floors. Whenever I couldn't find any, I'd send a Swiffer under the wooden file cabinet and get 3-4. My other cat is less tolerable. She takes all of the cotton swabs out of the trash and spreads them all over the house.

Whitmore Willy
You know the sock monster that lives in your dryer?...I think the pick predator is his brother. He usually hits my house for 2 or 3 a week.

AS90
For some reason I never lose any, I have to throw them away when they are worn! I must have around 200 now.
tonedeaf1281734100
My picks and my socks have all entered a parallel universe, along with my IRA. If I can just get there, I will be well-provided.
wiggy
I never seem to be short of the picks I don't like - it's only my favourite ones which go missing. Perhaps my wife or daughter is trying to say something about my playing

Just Strum
I thought MF, M123, or ZZound changed over to free shipping on all items - I'm not seeing that. I want to order picks, but don't want to pay the shipping.
Whitmore Willy
I believe Sweetwater still offers free shipping, no minimum. (if they have what you want) Yup, just checked...free shipping ...110 hits on "picks" in their search.

ef_in_fla
I mostly use Ultra Cool heavy picks and I get about a year out of each one. Between those and all the Ultex picks I have left, I have enough to last 10 lifetimes.
Just Strum
I sent an e-mail to the Chuck Surack over at Sweetwater this evening advising him that I found an error in the description of the Wildkat. Jokingly I said he could send me a Casino as a way of saying thanks. I have to give the guy credit, he responded saying thanks and he would have it corrected. This guy is the CEO of Sweetwater and he takes the time to respond. He did not mention the Casino, maybe I should have went for some picks. Just Strum
Hey guys, this is a serious problem and you are making light of it. Well, the next time you go into the grocery store and see pictures of my picks on the side of a milk carton, maybe you will think twice about cracking jokes. Beans
Losing plecks (as we call em in Manchester) is rubbish. I have phases of losing them, at the moment I cant seem to find any at all. Up until 6 months ago, I probably lost two in a year.
Dave
Drill a hole in it and tie a string on it (grin).. Seriously, you might want to check your pockets for holes. I keep a pick in the strings of any guitar that is on a stand, two in my pocket, and the rest in a zip lock bag in a drawer. You can always find a few picks in the drawer that accumulates junk you don't know where to store, you know the one, everyone has a drawer like that. I have found picks that I know I bought 20 years ago in that drawer. There's also the little brass bowl thing my wife tries to make me put things from my pocket in, instead of just throwing it on the counter. There's always picks in there.
