Silenced Fred
My SG is cherry and I think we can all agree that I'm ******* awesome and you're all squares/whore. Swearly.. You should go pick up that particular SG asap because I've only played one current production standard that I liked and that's my SG. They're all pretty different feeling IMO. You play Disturbed covers. I hate you.

Tim Plains
I think we're on to something here :)however I can't see myself with that pelham blue, not on an SG...maybe on a LP(which look great)...I'm more of a woody kinda guy lol Well, I can see myself getting a Pelham SG. I'm the opposite. I love Pelham on SGs but not on LPs. Antique Pelham LP (the green colour) looks amazing, though.

EVOL!
Sell both pickups on craigslist for 100. buy two 57 classics for 200. out of pocket cost? 100, not a bad deal. pickups are easy. Right. Rip those 490s out and put some 57s in her. Pelham Blue is the only color to get unless you're lame... Guess I am lame, times two, Mr. Not-Nice. stein
What? did somebody say Ebony SG? You can not deny a black one, regardless of favorites.
stein
I think some people have not had enough SG porn lately. I hear the Pelham Blue. Great color. But I don't see how a man can not be down with the cherry-bright or dark. What about black in a high gloss? I might prefer white with a batwing gaurd. NoFrills
Hm..... I honestly never tried out an SG.... I guess I have never been a fan of the design but the black one posted here is quite a looker. I might have to go down to the music stroe and try one out. Wonder how different they are in comparison to the LPs in the way of playability and balance.
G McBride
SGs are great. I have a Traditional in Red but doesn't get much play time lately. I'll have to remedy that. Thanks for the inspiration.
MrNylon
I was tempted to go for a LP Jr. DC Bass, in Pelham Blue. But I just like the SG style body, the fancier fretboard, and head.
S t e v e
i must admit that i never saw the pelham blue colour before this thread, it is nice but if the shop had that and the black one side by side i think i'd go for black...or maybe the pelham blue?...no black...wait...i can't decide

Shnate McDuanus
I just don't get the Pelham Blue color? It's like...I don't know...garish. It's like the color I'd picture on a Cadillac owned by a really wealthy pimp, except a pimp with a really lousy eye for color. Also don't care for the way Maestros look. Last time I questioned their stability I was abused (by Neo, but that's besides the point,) so I'll withhold further commentary on that matter. Trying to rack up a little indie cred to impress your hipster friends, Nate?

Trying to rack up a little indie cred to impress your hipster friends, Nate? I dig it. Tweedy uses em, so that makes it ok I knock my guitar out of tune anyways, so a Bigsby doesn't change that, just makes it more accessible. Tremolos will knock guitars out of tune, it comes with the territory. If I wanted a perfect guitar, I'd kill myeslf. I got tons of indie cred, you probably saw my facebook profile, I ooze indie cred. But right now, I'm trying to get with this cute redhead that's a total hipster... she's pretty swell
