That's a wm45. What would you recommend for a small body?

It all depends on what you want to spend, and what style you want to play. Vintage LG-2's and Lg-3's are popular these days, and for good reason. I recently bought an L-OO Legend, which I am madly in lust with.

With all those power-house guitars, I think you might be underwhelmed by a small body guitar unless you're just going to use it for finger picking.

I don't know -- probably between 50 and 60.

Let's pick,

Without irony or sarcasm, I say, "You are my hero, sir!" THANKS for letting us see and hear your collection (or parts of it) via your Vimeo channel.

Well thank you. It seems odd to be thanked for something that has given my wife and I such pleasure over so many years.

Best,

Spot, you have seen his impressive collection, haven't you? It's pretty mind-boggling. And it's not limited to Gibsons. I've never seen so much vintage wood in one place in my life. I suspect you would swoon from the aroma if you walked into the room.

It is beyond guitar porn , and into another realm.

  • 1 month later...

2010, J 45 (best bluegrass guitar I've ever played

1948, ES 125 (I don't know of a way to accurately date this guitar but I'm told 1948 is close)

1990, ES 335 (what a guitar. It's a tad heavy which puts it out of the running for my go to guitar for jazz/blues)

All three of these guitars are sun burst and the J 45 and ES 335 are in mint condition.
