jannusguy2
Just picked up this one owner, mint 1973 D18. Will have to do a bit of A/B -ing btwn this and my J45s. Very clean guitar with a BIG sound. What they lack in visual excitement they make up in tone.

EuroAussie
Looks in great shape, love well played in D-18's. They might not have the mojo and soul of Gibson mahogany dreads, but there's something special about the D-18. Recently bought a 00-15, so youre not the onlly one .. ;-) BBG: your comment cracked me up, green lantern for you !

BigKahune
. Love the look of your D18. Simple elegance in a natural finish. Nice color/age on the top. And looks in pristine condition too. Congrats. . B) .
retrorod
Very clean '73 ! I had a clean '75 D18 at one time. Was not a bond at that time ,so she hit the highway. She was a bit of a 'plain Jane' ***** anyway...

zombywoof
it needs a haircut !! Man, now that is funny. As long as the bridge is properly placed - 1970s Martin had an issue with this which I have heard was due to some worn machinery or something - I am guessing you will be very happy with that guitar. Nice Score!
jannusguy2
She fits right in with the rest of them. (New Gibson content coming next week, I hope!)

meanstreak
Nice, you can't deny Martin has some great sounding guitars, as evidence check out this vid I took about a year ago - http://youtu.be/O32hmsql5uA bit shaky as the crowd was shoving me a lot but man it was great stuff!
