  1. I've used that one and it works well.
  2. For heavy guitars I use woven straps as they are so comfortable. I've purchased three from the below site. https://weaverguitarstraps.com/about/
  3. There was enough spam for all the inmates in cell block 9 😦
  4. Thanks for the heads up!!!!
  5. Just a quick one Is there a difference in wired versus non-wired saddles for both ABR1 platform bridges? Reason I'm asking is I can only find nylon saddles that are for non-wired ABR1's. I have guitars with both types, and to the untrained eye I can't see the difference in the saddles. Thanks for the help
  6. When putting up the Christmas light on the roof and your hamstring tightens up and you cant get back down the ladder, and your wife has to remove one of the screens from the second floor window so you can get down.
  7. A used Gibson SG is a great price point for younger players. I have never understood the position of "Gibson guitars are for older established people."
  8. I'm adding a center humbucker pickup route to one of my Les Paul Standards, but I'm wondering if the dremel will live through it. I purchase an acrylic template, Dremel "Tool Plunger Adapter Attachment," and two very high quality "double fluted" tungsten-carbide tip, (not from Amazon). I guess my question is has anyone ever routed a pickup cavity with a dremel? Gracias
  9. I'm getting my second booster tomorrow 🤪... The first booster slammed me for about three days..... Soar body, totally weak and a headache the size of Jupiter........ I'm expecting the same reaction..... I feel like a damn pin cushion. It will be four Covid vaccines and one flu shout in 1.5 years....... But the good news is I have yet to get Covid (that I know of), and I don't want to get it if at all possible.
  10. Here's what my grill looked like on July 4th... We also had salmon and a bumch of low cal low sodium ribeye steaks and some carne.
  11. I'm a Bratwurst fella..... Add mustard, red onions, chopped serrano chilis and a sprinkle of pepper jack cheese.... and of course a sourdough bun..... And it's all love.
  12. Congrats KSD!!! I had put in for my retirement in August of 2021 as I reached my 30 year tenure. ......................................... However, I was called into a surprise meeting and my direct report and my bosses boss flew in from Kenosha to meet with me and talked me out of it all. They basically offered a 25% wage increase and a $25,000 cash signing agreement to stay on for another six years.... That would put me at 63 years old when I will retire.......
  13. 😆 That's pretty hilarious. But in all seriousness, our planet has never been visited by space faring civilizations.
  14. That's a sweet geetar right there.
  15. Alice Cooper If there is a tear on my face It makes me shiver to the bones Ya It shakes me Babe. It's just a heartache that got in my eye And you know I never cry, I never cry. Sometimes I drink more than I need Until the TV's dead and gone. I may be lonely But I'm never alone And the night may pass me by But I'll never cry. Take away, take away my eyes Sometimes I'd rather be blind. Break a heart, break a heart of stone Open it up but don't you leave it alone 'Cause that's all I got to give you Believe me Babe, it ain't been used My heart's a virgin, it aint never been tried And you know I'll never cry And you know I'll never cry And you know I'll never cry Never cry, I'll never cry Break a heart, break a heart of stone Open it up but don't you leave it alone 'Cause that's all I got to give you Believe me Babe, it ain't been used My heart's a virgin, it never been tried And you know I'll never cry Never cry I'll never cry
  16. This confirms Ringo in the best Beatle.... GO RAMS!!!!
  17. So the better half has been hinting about the location of the BBQer being a bit to close to the kitchen window once the ribeye's are a-grillen, and she has to close the window. So there's a small area in the back (15x4.5 feet) she gave me the okay to relocate the BBQ and she bought me a BBQ gazebo. I had to modify the gazebo tables so that they would fold to allow walking space. The job took me two weekends and at a total of $300 for the materials. I called for estimates but the lowest quote I received was $1800 labor only. I have a new found respect for those folks that do this type of work for a living. Next project stain the fence.
