If the measurements are in "inches" on that sketch, that guitar body is only 2-3/4" in length.

So my sweeter half and I had four days to get the project done. Basically we needed to replace the soft tops 8x8 pergola , the 5x5 soft top gazebo and construct a new deck. We received a few estimates but the lowest was $4000.... well that's a new Gibson. So with a $1500 budget in mind we found a 14x10 hardtop pergola for $749 and I modified the current bbq gazebo with a hard too for $105, new outdoor carpet $150. With the materials needed for the deck that left us with $600 for a new BBQ. The wifey was a trooper with the pergola assembly.... I would have got it done without her. There are some small details left like floor transitions, painting the pergola wooden risers and setting up the privacy curtains, but we are pleased.

Honestly the Andy Babiuk version is probably how Pauls bass should have been refinished. As the Andy version is beautiful.... But a Hofner bass shouldn't be $4000.

I have Calton for my Vine j200. I just don't understand why some get so perked up about things that cost a bit. And how is it greed? Calton cases are expensive without Gibson touching them. I dunno man.... Looking to complain for the sake of complaining has always made me scratch my head.
