davidl
I played out a little over a week ago and someone got it on video. My third time on stage. What a blast. I'm the guy in the white shirt. Some soloing around the 2:50 mark. Dave
davidl
Very Cool Man :) Thanks SHREK. It was a lot of fun. Thought the nerves would be bad but once we played the first note, it was just enjoyment. Dave

MuddyDitch Zhuangzi
Man, I love this song. Particularly the Buddy Guy rendition. Your band did a great version. Way to go Dave. Erik
davidl
Thanks for the comments folks, and Izzy, I actually did feel quite comfortable. I relate it to when I used to play hockey. Bundle of nerves before the game but can't wait to get out there. Once the puck drops, nerves are gone and determination and fun begins. Cougar
...once we played the first note, it was just enjoyment. It's also nice when the crowd shows its appreciation for your solo. Good one, man!

rct
Very nice job Dave. You don't need a pro video shoot, song on the radio, platinum 8 track sales or a clip on the internet to contribute. Everyone has experience, that's what you need to contribute. rct
pippy
Don't know how I missed this. Excellent job, Dave! And I second Cougar's observation that it's always nice when the crowd shows they are enjoying the efforts you are putting in. Many congrats! P. davidl
You guys and gal have been very kind and encouraging. Much appreciated. Many thumbs up to all of you. Its funny. When I wrote "I finally had something to contribute", I thought I was in the Walk the walk thread. We even got a chance to go into a professional recording studio and record one of our covers, (Bad case of loving you by Robert Palmer). Wasn't my first choice of songs but the experience was way cool. Dave
68blues
Ha ha ha brilliant, slowly but surely you start to own that stage. Good man, I haven't the confidence, the balls or the skill to even attempt that.
