Sgt. Pepper
My wife’s loves him. She’s seen him many times. I know what he means to his fans. I think I’ll play Come Monday and Son Of A Sailor. RIP Jimmy Edited September 2, 2023 by Sgt. Pepper
MissouriPicker
Loved reading his book and loved his music. He was a “one of a kind” songwriter and performer. RIP and God Bless.

fortyearspickn
Same thing killed Eva Cassidy, one of the greatest female vocalists ever. Until they came up with "UV Protection' we from the Boomer Generation were oblivious to the havoc the sun was wreaking on our skin. Regular Dermatologist checkups are more important than Dentist checkups.
saturn
Yeah. I saw this in a group text this morning. Steve and I play a lot of Buffett songs at our acoustic gigs. He did a solo gig at a neighborhood party tonight and the entire first set was dedicated to Jimmy. I had a band gig tonight and of course we did 2 of his songs in tribute. Didn't know until this thread what the cause was. RIP
