KSG_Standard
I'm taking some customers out for lunch tomorrow and one of them suggested sushi...I didn't even know we had sushi here in Corpus:-s ...I developed quite an addiction to this stuff during my travels up and down the west coast...I am going to eat so much sushi tomorrow that I'm likely to hurt myself...:o

KSG_Standard
My kids love it. Wicked1 and I can't stand the stuff. My kids won't eat it! My wife thinks that the rolls are sushi and that's what she eats...As long as she's happy, it's all good.
djroge1
I've tried a lot of different food, but I cannot bring myself to eating raw fish. I'd go with country fried steak personally (also known as chicken fried steak depending on the part of the country you live in).

charlie brown
Sushi is great! Love it! Greatest invented food, though: "Rocky Road Ice Cream!" MMMM-MMMM!! CB
FirstMeasure
No sushi for me, I'll take a Pulled Pork sandwich from a good BBQ joint. Or a chicken fried steak, but I prefer mine for breakfast with eggs over easy and hashbrowns.

Californiaman
By all means, Hurt yourself baby. Sushi's the best. When ever I travel to a concert sushi is our preconcert meal. Even in my little town of Santa Maria we have at least sushi seven restaurants.

grampa
Sacramento is a big sushi town which I love, but my wife made her "famous" brandy fried chicken last weekend and that is something that I would kill for.
Thundergod
My kids love it. Wicked1 and I can't stand the stuff. I'd go with country fried steak personally (also known as chicken fried steak depending on the part of the country you live in).[/quote'] The sashimi is the raw stuff. I only let the younger child eat sushi with cooked fish in it. Maybe when he's older, he can branch out, but for now I'm playing it safer. Our daughter ate so much who-kn0ws-what in her childhood, I figure she can fight off anything a fish might have. I've tried the sushi--hate the seaweed it's rolled in. Tried sashimi and could never get past the "I'm eating raw fish" feeling. I'll stick with food that is cooked to the point of being close to charcoal. G u e s t
. . I know it's missing the point, with all the prep and pres and stuff, but..... .....I love the concept of somebody "inventing" raw fish. And other people buying it!
grampa
Sushi refers to the vinegar rice and not to whatever is put on it. It's a tricky deal and is more of an invention than raw fish. The raw fish is of course sashimi.
