Thundergod
I'd like them to make a 61 reissue. Really... I hate how they make that 61' SG reissue and call it an SG. They should call it a 61 Les Paul reissue and it would sell lots more and even be idolized by some snobs. I'd like to see a reproduction of The Log too. And at that, the gibson recording as a production model.
Riverside
Gibson made some nice basses (and some fugly ones, too.) I'd like to see some of the nice ones reissued.

Tim Plains
Joe Perry's '59 burst! I don't want another Les Paul but if they made that... They should call it a 61 Les Paul reissue and it would sell lots more and even be idolized by some snobs. Custom Shop SGs say "Les Paul" on them. Mine, the Standard VOS, has it on the TRC. SG Custom VOSs have it on the plastic piece between the neck & pickup. I don't think they'd sell anymore by officially renaming them to Les Paul. Tim Plains
Even if they did officially change the name, I'd still call them SG just to be a d*ck. :- What Gibson needs is Buckethead and many more Slash signatures...

Shnate McDuanus
The entire Firebird line needs to be put back into production. Also, I love the Les Paul Special Double-Cut, but I don't need it to be VOS, and I'd like a finish other than TV Yellow on mine.

RichCI
This but at a less stupid price. No way am I paying three grand for a slab body guitar; I don't care how big they want to make "VOS" lettering, that's a $1200 guitar TOPS. SG Special Reissue VOS
Murph
And at that' date=' the gibson recording as a production model.[/quote'] I gigged a '72 Recording from Phoenix to Louisiana to Illinois for 14 years. I SO regret letting that one go. Since Les has passed, I figure they'll come out with one eventually, as it was his favorite. I just hope it's not over priced. Great idea Thunder.
