The plastic cap on the top is actually a veneer. That's right:^o, it has a decal of fake plastic on top. I was really pissed when I found out! Tim Plains Posted April 16, 2008 Author Share Posted April 16, 2008 Guys, I've been had. I just got confirmation from Gibson that this Les Paul is a fake! It's unfortunate that I didn't do my research before buying. Serves me right for buying a guitar off the net. She doesn't sound very good acoustically but has killer tone when plugged in.
