dROK83
I'm really bored at work, and the stripper song thread made me think of this (mainly one particular post). What is everyones favorite movie soundtrack? I've always found Quentin Tarantino's movie soundtracks to be great. Mine are: in this order Death Proof Reservoir Dogs Pulp Fiction I know, all Tarantino movies, but hey that's just how it is. These are the only soundtracks where I like every actual song, and will even listen to the sound clips from the actual dialogue in the movies. cabba2203
My favorite is the soundtrack for Conan The Barbarian, and Conan The Destroyer. Basil Poledouris just did some very percussive stuff on those, great music. The soundtrack to Legend is also a favorite of mine and Queen's soundtrack to Flash Gordon was really cool. dROK83
Great soundtrack; great movie. First time I had heard Ooh La La and really loved it. You're right it was a great movie, but like all Wes Anderson movies, just a little out there. He's really a "love 'em or hate 'em" kind of director/writer. cabba2203
What happened to real soundtrack music? Original scores that were meant for the movie or songs writen just for the movie about **** that went on in the movie? Soundtracks today are nothing more than "mix tapes" of someone's play list, some of which weren't even in the movie but in the end credits and had nothing to do with the movie at all. Sorry, it's a pet peave of mine. Not meaning to rant.
