pippy
That was new to me too. Did he ever use it again, I wonder? Not my fave Zep song by a rather large margin... P.
Shnate McDuanus
That sure is something! Gee, y'know I rarely get to see an RD in use, but it's a lot less ugly when it's being played by someone...if that makes any sense.
Zonkers
Thank you!! I've been looking around for some videos of LZ right before John died. Are there any live versions of In Through The Out Door songs?

Are there any live versions of In Through The Out Door songs? If I remember there are one or two on the DVD. I also remember Jimmy playing a Strat on a few songs. FirstMeasure
I stumbled across this vid while looking for "Wearing and Tearing" from Knebworth 1994, when Page sits in with Roberts band. Took me totally by surprise. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vPK8LVdf5I&feature=related Here's the Strat! With cool Timpani intro. there seems to be a big influx of footage from Knebworth on Youtube. bluzhammer
Yeah buddy, Jimmy's really "sweatin the smack ". Shame, really, it diminished his playing and creativity, for a good while, although he did come out on the other side of it in fairly good shape. He doesn't appear to be, at least from what I've seen, a soured up old pickle like Keith Richards.
