devellis
It's big and it's bold. And Gibson really knows how to do a sunburst. More information after I've had a bit of time with it. So far, so good, though.

devellis
looks like a t.v sj 200 am i correct > Beautiful :) Yup, TV model. I'll definitely post a review at a later point. I'll have to see if I can work up the nerve to do a sound clip. My playing really falls apart when the record button is pushed but if you guys can tolerate the goof-ups, I may give it a try. I'll also need to figure out the logistics of recording and posting but that should be the least humbling part of the process.
Gilliangirl
To say that that super guitar is super gorgeous would be a super understatement! Congratulations!
E-minor7
The striped structure in the wood/lacquer and that guard on that burst – well, the whole thing : Delicious !
Buc McMaster
Very fine! The SJ200 is one of the icons of music, across genres. And you are right: they know how to do a sunburst! Congratulations on the new music maker!

PickitPaul
That is delicious One of Gibson's finest guitars. Many happy days ahead of you playing this. I just got a plain (no burst)used & it is being repaired for a top crack. Can't wait for it to come back...I really miss it.

EuroAussie
As I said on the AGF, that is guitar perfection, just an absolute stunner as we say in Oz ! I'm glad you got the sunburst, I much more prefer it on the J-200 compared to natural finish. Sound samples pleeeasee ....:-))
livemusic
That is on my dream list. What a beauty! Gibson sure can make a pretty guitar. And guitars that sound great! I try to envision if it would look better with a more traditional bridge but even the mustache bridge is growing on me.
torca
Beautiful guitar! It looks like a very thin nitro finish as the grain lines really standout, should be a real live one.Enjoy that boomer. Todd
