I do like Bill Bailey's (No not Axl Rose, the comedian Bill Bailey) "Hindie Indie" version.

Have cut back on my equipment do to circumstance. Just my #1 Gibson Les Paul Standard just now. No amps, no pedals.

Where was that clip of Prince playing "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" come from? I don't remember him being at the "Concert For George"

Give it up for Prince. Not only a great guitar player, but he sure can spot talent.

I've always felt sorry for him. The bulk of people think he's a little wierdo and a second rate MJ.
He's a true talent and a great guitarist. A great songwriter and producer too.

I agree. There really is nothing to feel sorry about. Prince is a class A, barking mad, nut case to the nth degree. But he's also a badass artist. Most of the truly great artist I've met over the years have been total lunatics. Comes with the neighborhood I think.

The Prince characters on SNL make me crack up. Prince and Beyonce below. Did anyone else see that skit?

Yes, I've seen this before and it is killer! I'm not a fan of Prince's standard music, but it his one off stuff like this that that I really like. That solo was pure rock-in-roll with attitude and showmanship and overall it looked like he was having a good time doing it too. He's way more than his pop music.

Speaking of comparing Prince and MJ... I heard someone say once that Prince was like "Michael Jackson with a d**k."
