  1. Just great stuff! "I Still Believe" still knocks me out! Tell us what was used on that song.
  2. Jinder, Both sound great...how do you pick? I personally like the sound of the SJ-200, but as I've said many times here....it's just too danged big for me. I have five Dreads, two Doves, two Hummingbirds and the J-50. I love and appreciate each of them for their own contributions.... you really have to play the Dove and SJ-200 and compare.... For me, the deciding factor wasn't the sound...it was the 'fit' of the guitar for me.
  3. That's almost exactly what I've been going through! I had a crown break...so low the remainder of the tooth couldn't be saved....so I got it pulled..... started chewing on the other side....so, like you, bit my cheek multiple times..... but the worst thing...a tooth on the now chewing side started to ache..... dentist said I needed a root canal....so that's what I just did.....I'm chewing on the side of my mouth with a gaping hole where a molar should be.... but....before I can get a bridge for that (I'm too old to think about an implant) I have to get a crown on the tooth with the new root canal..... so, for awhile, I have to continue to chew on the 'toothless' side, (ever hear the phrase 'eating corn on the cobb through a picket fence'?) Of course, all this happened AFTER I retired and lost my "Cadillac Dental Insurance", so the crap-plan I get through Medicare pays only a fraction of the cost!
  4. Wish I'd have thought of that!
  5. Actually, not too bad..... didn't even take Motrin today for it..... still chewing on the opposite side.
  6. It's a real beauty.... CONGRATZ!
  7. Let's not even get into what Little Richard was singing about "Tutti Frutti"!
  8. I actually think "Rock 'N Roll" was a street term for 'making out' (if you know what I mean).
  9. It's probably time to mention that I'm actually in the Rock 'N Roll Hall Of Fame. Here's the induction letter: The first edition: Second edition, (I"m the guy all the way to the right side with my head over the green "H" in "March". Third Edition: Wasn't really "inducted", more like I snuck in the back door!
  10. As Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart would say about Rock 'n Roll, "I know it when I hear it!"
  11. Jinder, I'm so happy to read this post. If anyone in the world deserves that 'Bird 12-String it's you...and you can make it sound better than most people. I sure hope you get back to the condition where you can record and even play out again. Keep the faith, ol' buddy.
  12. I use my luthier to select the best strings for my playing. I have every acoustic I own set up professionally. My guy has never let me down.
  13. I have Martin MA140 80/20 Bronze "Light" 12's Authentic Acoustic strings on mine right now.
  14. I think Krasi's version is as good as Amy Speace's version. As I said, it was Krasi's video that made we want to learn the song.
  15. Krasi has like 30+ guitars...so many he stores them in a studio he leases. The Martin in the clip is a 1990.
  16. Dan, my take is MUCH different, but here it is:
  17. Dan, try this one from him....it was based on this version that I learned the song!
  18. I still talk to him on a regular basis. He sent me a copy of CD from his group, TOCHKA BG. I've listened to it maybe 20 times, even though I can't understand a single word!
  19. I liked Switzerland very much too..... Might consider Italy before Switzerland.....I'd have to think about it.
  20. If I didn't live where I live, I would consider Ireland... I LOVED it there.
  21. I know some of you will remember Krasi, (MR GIBBS). I don't think he's too active on the Forum these days...but he's kept busy performing (not so much these days) and recording. Here he is on live TV in Bulgaria:
