There should have been a pamphlet in the case but there's really nothing to it. The T handles clamp the strings in there (they turn clockwise and are really tight). For the high E string pull the string tight and then screw down the T handle.

This new ownership really likes the word "iconic". They can't go five minutes without throwing "iconic" out there. Enough with the iconic, already.

Frank Zappa, for instance.

I'd toss some money in the case, they did a great job.

Gibson SG ‘61 Reissue signed by Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi

Let us know the repair quote, please. Then you'll see why I suggested shelving that idea and getting another one. -
One of my grand uncles was wounded on Normandy Beach but that's all he ever said about it. Another grand uncle was in the Navy and had a gazillion green tattoos which he always kept covered up. He never said a peep about any of it. A very brave, and modest, generation of men and women.

How much? Only one way to find out but I think you'd be better off buying a second one if you really like that model. -
There are a lot of guitars out there. I'd poke around and find a 355 with an ebony fret board. For that kind of money I want real wood but that's just me.

No wonder they got divorced. How'd you like to play a Les Paul with those wimpy little straps?

Please help me identify this Gibson semi-hollow double cut

Do I get Bonus Points if I've never heard the Jonas Brothers? They probably bite, here's some real music: -

I think you're right but I've never seen one in person. It always looked like a model where they couldn't quite make up their mind what to do with it. -
There's always used guitars, too. I have an 05 Studio and it's just tremendous. When I bought it cost wasn't really a consideration, I just really liked the guitar better than anything else that was in the store at the time. No need to replace any of the electronics.

I'm with RCT, this is the only guitar site I visit on a regular basis. I pop into AGF every once in a while but always wander back out.

You found your guitar, that 2012 in the store.

I think it's somewhere around $20 or $25 with the tip. The girls work for a pittance and live off of the tips so I tip generously.

Thank you, I simply had to log back in after the Forum update. Good job with the photo uploading section, that's a big plus. Maybe a different background color so it doesn't look so stark?
-
Different looking and see some much needed upgrades like with the photos. I tried to post earlier and got an error, let's see if this works.

Any plans on putting The Lounge back into service?

I always enjoyed his playing with Tom Waits, it's always so short, simple and very distinctive.

I don't know about this one. I had a Scottish girl friend and they are the reason God made fast motorcycles so you can hop on and vanish over the horizon, never to be seen again! Talk about a temper.

He's right, it does look ugly. Woof.
-
That is certainly a looker, I see why you bought it!

I'm afraid this is all a cruel hoax. There are no pictures to be seen as nobody actually owns a Firebird X. Not even Phil Manzanera, his was just a cardboard mock up for a publicity shot.
