  1. That would be a Starburst studio from the 90s.. .. at 1300 that would be about what they sold for new. Gibson made I believe 3 versions..
  2. Average out 2500 .00. per guitar. Not really sure what there thought process is there.
  3. Its a waste. But in the same token Bozeman cuts up alot too. But most of those have had flaws where they were not up to standards for the market place. And they dont sell seconds. Im sure the could of done something to those electrics to make those more sellable instead of wasting it all. Like make a sidewalk up to the plant.
  4. My New L5ces Crimson has ebony for the fingerboard and bridge
  5. They say that J45 looks good in the other thread.
  6. There at it again. Cant get enough of the scribbles
  7. Its been going on for a while. Theyll sell you recycled wood on guitars they build , but they dont want it back because its a inferior cheap product.
  8. There were 1992 / 1993 era. You have a serail number and label to show? I also believe they made these in the latter years of the 90s as well. I had one from 92 with a birdseye maple back and sides it had the plaque on the back of the peghead.
  9. If Im not mistakin. I think it was part of the Montana specials. There a real nice guitar.
  10. Back in the 90s AJs were a hard sell Of coarse Gibson might of sold alot to dealers but most hung on the racks waiting for the right person to come along back then new they were 1600 to buy . Kind of like todays J35 models. There a good guitar. There Cool guitars. Theres a few used ones up here that have been for sale for a very long time and they dont have any issues. And there asking prices are a little high. I own a few of the early custom shop ones from the 90s and I like them alot. Good luck on your quest for one. You should be able to get a decent clean one for around 14 to 16 for a standard Rosewood model. I wouldnt give any more than that.
  11. Acgually the early 90s pink lined case with the pink dust cover stained a few of mine
  12. Where are his hoes? He should have 3.
  13. Belly bulge is not a easy fix that usually means the sound hole area will get sucked in. And that would be a ladder braced top
  14. I would pass if I had to pick. The lg1 would be good if the top is not sucked in. Or buy a nice J35 or along those lines like mentioned above

G45 1299.00 U.S list . not bad. Those up here sell for 2500.00 cdn . Looked at one last night. Best to buy state side
  16. Thats a cool picture. I wonder if any of those ladies are still around. And if they had a chance to make there own guitars at any givin time during there work there.
  17. Well, there aint know one else out in the world that will duplicate that.. That looks ugly..
  18. Is Gibson broke? Do they need someone to set up a go fund me page for them? who in there right mind would pay a fee to Gibson for building better guitars ?
  19. Yup there decent guitars. I like the older solid top Yamaha guitars. There cheap to buy and very well made.
  20. Not me . Theres more out there in better shape. You might have to pay abit more. But a cleaner example will hold value way better. If not increase in time.
