  1. I think the 3M is showing total confirmed cases and not subtracting those who have recovered or deaths. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/coronavirus-cases/ scroll down to the Active chart that shows 1.9M currently infected, still extremely scary..

    Why?

Silky dresses are wonderful, at my age I have to be careful my imagination doesn't drift too far. My guitar gently weeps for me. I sold off my humbuckers and have gone totally P90, partly to have consistency in tweaking my amps. You might like your Gold Top with "humbucker sized P90's", there are some really good sounding ones out there, P94 style, that drop right in. I play in some areas's that are totally solar, but tend to get the cleanest sound when a generator comes on, perhaps its providing a better ground. Under really bad noise conditions, I back off the gain and tone a bit on my guitar and specially any boost that gets noisy, typically finding 1/2 the amount of drive I would have used with humbuckers. I also use a reverse coil to get the humbucker effect, using the switch mid-position most of the time, while getting a great reacting P90 sound with some hum cancelling. Actually, I tune my amp to be optimized for both pickups on at the same time. One of the things I love about single coils, is how they respond to playing pressure... Having a new tube amp to tweak for different volume levels ranging from bedroom to outdoor levels, is great entertainment during these times, loving the sound of valves cooking driven by P90's. I know you guys aren't exactly beginners, but some of this information may be helpful to new players using Les Pauls original design pickup..
  3. Most of the time I just use my TECH 21 RK5 to simplify my setup as it has a Delay, Overdrive with Reverb, Overdrive and Boost which I have a Vox Wah feeding it. Also a Joyo analog Delay and Chorus in the effects loop of my Tube amp.
  4. I occasionally use my Sound Tank Tube Screamer TS5 running into a Boss DS-1, both set to the same level as clean so each individually can add a little crunch without increasing the gain. But when both are on its like dream land..

    Why?

I like to find a quiet place and practice seated Zen. While calming my body and letting go of distractions, as I start to drift into no-mind with Ki energy flowing with my breath, my mind totally open to the universe and presented to the Creator. I wake with a calm feeling and a knowing that everything will be as it should be. KoKyu Ho. This experience is very similar to the way I feel when I'm in the zone playing my guitar.. with P90's... 🤐

Santa sent me some really hot P90's for my custom Tele. I believe....
  7. Just expressing an idea... Not trying to force it on anyone....
  8. All good answers, but talking about what you are getting may help.

This not really the place for pushing theological beliefs, but I will defend your right to believe what you want and every one else's. These are very trying times and faith in whatever helps get through it is good. Sensitivity goes a long ways.. My belief is that P90's are the best sounding pickups ever created... 🙂
  10. My state being easy to isolate with a very small population was a few weeks behind in getting infected. So we were biting our nails as the eastern states were getting infected. With thousands of travelers coming through or ports daily, it was just a matter of time. People here were demanding for the Governor to shutdown travel, now locally they have been on "stay at home" too long and are demanding the beaches be opened. Most of our island economy is based on travel services so our businesses are pretty much dead right now.
  11. I think I am spending way too much time watching documentaries, but focusing on the most recent as new discoveries keep pulling the rug out from under the old dogma. Just for fun more twists on monolithic structures.. Monolithic building, origin and aliens.
  12. I use a Trio sometimes, the bass and drums level control can isolate what you want. The base model can store 3 programs and can easily sample new songs on the fly . Also used Casio Keyboards for percussion click tracks.
  13. I am a Christian, but I do believe our history is wrong and we are much older than we have been taught. We may have originated out of Africa, but with massive cross-species breeding with other upright walking hominids as we made several migrations north. Then God said enough is enough.. 😀
  14. God is not of the earth, he created it, that would make the All Mighty an alien.
  15. The powers that be are showing us the running totals of COVID 19 and not subtracting those who have recovered or died. My state reports 580 cases which doesn't subtract the 414 recovered or 10 deaths, which would lower the active cases to 156. I wonder if this is to force us to get Bill Gates chip so we can be tracked by the 5G network, injected with the upcoming vaccine. 😩

  17. Ohh, one very important difference I forgot to mention is the Casino Coupe is a hollowbody where the 339 is a semi-hollowbody.
  18. The Epiphone Casino Coupe is a slightly reworked 339 P90 Pro... The main differences are the Dog Ear P90's, tuners, hardware finishes and Traditional Casino style Trapeze Tailpiece where the 339 uses a StopBar..
  19. Most fulcrum Strat styles usually need to be blocked for dive only set up by a pro and trems need to be exercised regularly to return to zero with any consistency. On non-locking systems, free string movement over nut is the most critical. Different strokes for different folks.. 🙂
