  1. Breakfast was a plain bagel (toasted with cream cheese) and coffee at Starbucks. Then, on the way home, 3 margaritas at Torchy's Tacos.
  2. He was a good'un. I got to see him in Dallas at a blues festival in '90 or '91. RIP.
  3. Oh, jeez! This is terrific! I listened to the first 20 minutes or so, got on Amazon, and ordered some of her on CD.
  4. I imagine the cats in your neighborhood are starting to get a little nervous.
  5. I'm a fan of the tortoise pickguard.
  6. Thanks for the pedal info.
  7. ,,, and I think I'll have a bit of The Macallan tonight, too. I also like Belhaven Ale and Newcastle Ale, but I've heard that Newcastle is no longer brewed in Scotland.
  8. I'm with you on this, brad1: a great price on the amp and a question on the il diavolo. Guitar God, how does the il diavolo compare to other ODs?
  9. It's a common defect. I've got several Gibsons with the same defect.
  10. Hey, thanks sparqui! That answers a lot of questions!
  11. Welcome, LeftyDaveZ! I'm a lefty myself. I used to go to the Dallas show (and the Arlington show in the fall) every year. I haven't been in about 5 - 6 years, now. But, now that I'm retired, I'm going to try to get back into the guitar show swing.
  12. Since we're toasting Scotland... I think I'll pour me a little of The Macallan.
  13. That is an incredibly beautiful guitar. Congratulations.
  14. I love the smell of sawdust in the morning.
  15. All those Hammer films were good. They always seemed to squeeze in a few scenes with a little bit of cleavage, too.
  16. I like the old Universal monster movies from the '30s: Frankenstein, Dracula, The Wolfman, The Mummy, etc. Island of Lost Souls and Werewolf of London (the movie, not Warren Zevon) are also favorites. I'll have to check out Dead of Night.
