We rarely get them in the house here in Florida, but when we do, I invert a cup over it, slide a piece of cardboard under the cup trapping the scorp inside. Then I walk it out to the wildlife preserve about 300' behind my house. I figure it'll never find it's way back. Notes
Californiaman
I actually wanted to keep it as a pet. The family wasn't up to the idea, so I let it go.

Californiaman
Oh hell yeah! That's why if I leave a pair of shoes outside the front door, I always check, shake and slap my shoes to see what falls out. Haven't found one yet.
Notes_Norton
Better (or less) bad a scorpion than a brown recluse spider. And shaking your shoes will not necessarily make the recluse fall out

merciful-evans
This morning: Found this photo I took in December 2012. It was still in RAW (never processed). The dark version is original, and the lighter one post-exposed. I'm undecided about which I prefer Its Portsmouth from the top of Portsdown Hill
Brucebubs
I think I prefer the lighter version - loses a touch of contrast but there's more detail visible which improves the foreground too.
Tman
The moon, the setting sun and a b!tch all in one panoramic. 5 minutes later. She really likes to look out into the valley when the sun is setting. Pretty much every night.

merciful-evans
Me & Nathan wrestling out the stubborn stump (nearly 3 years ago). We succeeded eventually, that stump is still in the garden. Its too heavy to lift into the car for a tip-run.
