Has Clapton Lost the Plot?

Why does anyone listen to politicians for medical advice?

Do you visit the local Mayors office for a broken leg?

Do you go to an auto repair shop to get your guitar set up?

Any politician giving medical advice has an agenda that benefits them, not you.

Try to avoid the Witchdoctor pushing Hydroxychloroquine that was put on a pedestal by a certain political party though. Remember, the one stating Demons were having sex with your children while they sleep? Second and third medical opinions are always recommended.

Next time I have Kidney stones, I'm going to the eye doctor as they are able to clearly see what my issue is!

Here’s something that’s lost the plot alright:

https://reverb.com/item/49495186-gibson-nighthawk-1994-nighthawk-custom-with-roland-synth-pickup-kit-installed?utm_source=rev-ios-app&utm_medium=ios-share&utm_campaign=listing&utm_content=49495186

I can’t believe that someone thought this was a good idea to drill all those holes into that nice looking guitar… and handpicked by Reverb at that!

Since we are talking about anything but EC and arguing about vaccines, politics, etc I thought I would share something I find to be abhorrent. Let’s start putting Floyd’s in our ES guitars with synth pickups. At least Reverb will have your back. Because that NH in the listing is like it is, HTF can you start pricing around $1750 plus shipping? This guitar is worth MAYBE a grand and even then I’m not happy with the price. I’m really thinking about $750 for mutilating that thing. Wonder what the HSC is… original? If this is OHSC and in very good shape, that’s around $300 or more depending right there… Some people suck at listing their garbage mostly because they overvalue it and/or can’t take enough quality pictures.

Wow. I'm speechless.

Is there a single issue which isn't political and polarized over the water there?

Probably not.

But then again, our politicians and our TV News machines endeavor to keep us polarized and divided.
An 'us against them' climate serves them well at the polls, apparently.
Americans end up not so much voting FOR one Party or candidate, but against the hated other Party or candidate.

And when we the citizens are busy tearing at each others throats, we aren't keeping our eyes on what the crooked politicians are up to in the first place.

A sad state of affairs.

I know it dyslexic and I know what it means, but I cannot read OHSC without thinking 'OverHead CamShaft'

Lol yeah there’s a few acronyms that give me a run for the money too. Just get into computers and software engineering - you’ll get confused real quick! Case in point, I bought a new PC (lol) that had an IPMI for the BMC 😂 real cool feature… I think…

My favorite is WAP. No you pervs, it’s a wireless access point!

You know it. [cool]

But hey. I cheer when guys like Jeeter get in. Pappi was just such a goon. If you're not a Sox fan there really isn't much to like about the guy.  Just my opinion. He could hit, I'll give him that.

I don't know what "lost the plot" means, but over here in Tennessee we have "y'uns."  And "Git back to y'own trailer."

And fake cowboys.  We have lots of fake cowboys.  You can't go to McDonalds without ten fake cowboy hats getting all jammed under the drive thru height restriction banner and blocking everybody from getting to their jobs at the lead acid battery plant.  🙄

To play it safe I telework, wear a mask in public settings, avoid diseased humans, have had three shots, dumped some Ivermectin and Viagra in my Head And Shoulders, never, ever bite the heads off of bats AND threw away my Oozie Oozebourne records.

I'm still here.

Something's working.

I played it even safer and retired.

Ozzy "The Prince of Darkness" my a-ss. Wasn't he on that wussy hit with Lita Ford - If I Close My Eyes Forever? Sabbath kicked him out for a reason, you can't sing and your a total loon and a druggie and a drunk, well all Sabbath were.

Well, back in the '80's, when the "Urban Cowboy" trend was still strong, you'd find a lot of fake cowboys here in the metro Detroit area too.  Guys who've never been farther South than Toledo Ohio wearing Stetsons, yoked shirts and cowboy boots talking with poor imitations of a Texas "twang".   It was pathetic.

Fake Cowboys Getting All Jammed Up Under The Drive Thru would be a great Ken and Barbie country song.

Yeah the "Roid" guys are getting the shaft and they should. Papi probably did them but never tested + so, they can't prove it.

Our band were playing a club somewhere near Southampton (uk) and this cowboy walked in. There was no C&W event (that I know of) going on anywhere. But this fellow was utterly convincing. He had the hat, the stubble, the chaps and spurs etc. and despite being completely out of place he actually looked pretty cool.

We were between songs and I managed a couple of bars of 'The Good, the Bad & the Ugly'. He looked around and gave an approving nod before heading to the bar. To this day I have no clue what it was all about.
