egoidealmusic
I know some folks here hate the double pickguards, but I think this is a fantastic looking J-200.

zombywoof
And I had the second pickguard which had been added to my wife's 1960 J200 removed. What was I thinking?

But that is because I wear Converse high tops and round wire frame glasses. I guess they expect old guys to dress like George Burns. Kwlsky
I admit that double pick guards look better on burst/colored guitars. But on natural top guitars they still look like an abomination to me.

fortyearspickn
As far as looks - A beautiful guitar - if it only had ONE pick guard. TWO - ruins it.
Jalex
Not a fan of the double pickguards either. I like the color though and it does sound very good.
Larsongs
Some people say the double Pick guard reduces the vibration & dampens the overall Sound… Personally I love to see the Wood… One Pickguard is enough.. Although, lefties would like it!
Sgt. Pepper
Just go big or go home, and make the whole top a pickguard.

Might be a better price if it were a full monte pick guard with a cheap guitar attached.

zombywoof
I am sorry but I would not buy that guitar with Sal's or anyone else's money. I guess like somebody else noted I like to see the grain to the point it is even visible through the blackest black edge of a burst, While I know I come off like a broken record, if Bozeman had gone the extra mile and duplicated the unique bracing in Springsteen's '62 in Norms' guitar so it was more than just a skin-deep thing I would be a whole lot more forgiving, Edited August 22, 2022 by zombywoof
MissouriPicker
I tend to prefer the single pick guard, but wouldn’t rule out the double. However, if the pick guard design rubs-off easily I wouldn’t want the double pick guard. For me, the double pick guard enhances the guitar’s beauty, but also its price, so if the design disappears easily I don’t want it.
moosesyr
What is the body depth of this model? To my eye it looks like an OM depth. Just curious. I like the looks, beautiful!
