I like regular old celluloid Fender medium picks like in the pic above but you might like something made from a different material that's either softer or stiffer. FirstMeasure Posted April 11, 2010 Share Posted April 11, 2010 I've always heard of them as Jazz Picks. Fender calls 'em 358 Jazz picks. When I went through a Teardrop Pick Phase I preferred the Claytons, never settled on a size, but definitely in the medium range. They do work well for the mandolin, though.
