Artie Owl
I am seriously disappointed that I read through this and saw NO Journey songs. Seriously. Disapointed.

djroge1
Ok serious add to this thread. Once you hear it you will all agree this is the greatest love song. Although I wish I could find a video of her performing it herself.
SHO
This is my favorite........... Peter Gainsbourg was a genious composer. Not to mention one hell of a rebel and trouble maker. I'm a big fan of his since way back. I just wish I could understand the lyrics 100%. Oh well. I guess I should now say that his Lemon Incest is the best love song ever and post the video to that' date=' but I don't want to get banned. So instead, here's Captain Beefheart - My Head Is My Only HOuse Unless It Rains. Not much avant garde here, just the captain at his most simple mood ever, but I still like it. jaxson50
It doesn't matter who sings it, this may be one of the best love songs ever written, this is the writer, this is her version
jaxson50
And then there was Eva, how far would she have gone if she had lived? Who knows but her voice lives on, these are two examples of her love songs

ZenKen
And then there was Eva Eva lived and worked not far from me just outside of Washington DC. Her unlikely collaboration with the Godfather of funk Chuck Brown, produced some surprisingly great music. I had the good fortune to see her live on a few occasions and she was a great talent. Her "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" blows away Judy Garland's.
craigh
"In My Life" was actually taken from a poem that John knew from school. "Got To Get You Into My Life" is about weed. My favorite love song is "I Will" by The Beatles. Craig
