Some delectable stuff there, folks!

Here is my sofa this morning. Not nearly so tempting but, hey, I'm happy.

Only four of them get much play-time.

The two LP copies and the Strat copy I've had since the mid-late '70s.

The Kiso-Suzuki 'Martin' Dreadnought I bought in 1980.

The Squire Tele was given to me last week.

I think you all know the rest.

Don't tell her but I'm hoping to swap out the Custom; the Gold-Top; the Strat and the Tele for their 'real deal' look-alikes without her noticing...

Front row' date=' far left with the "f" holes. Who is she?[/quote']

I've mentioned it a couple of times before but in odd threads so, for those who might have missed it;

Mid-forties arch-top Antoine di Mauro "Chorus" model 'Manouche' (Gipsy-Jazz) guitar.

I bought her for the equivalent of about $12-$13 in about 1980 - primarily because I liked the machine-heads and it seemed to be very much 'hand-made' by someone who obviously knew what they were doing...

Here's a link to one for sale at the moment, if you fancy one yourself. It's a newer one with an adjustable bridge, however....(You mean more useful, right???).

Apparently, when Django's brother was Rhythm Guitar in the 'Quintet du Hot Club...' he used one of them.

It's just a futon [thumbup]

I think futons are probably OK in this thread. You know, a futon is a very versatile piece of furniture; during the day, it's an uncomfortable couch, and at night, it converts to an uncomfortable bed.
