Mike Bloomfield   Hubert Sumlin; great pick, what an influential guitarist. I meet him some years back, a really nice laid back guy; like Pinetop Perkins and BB King, he's gonna keep doing what he does until that day he doesn't wake up. damian
I had never heard of this guy before but he is the CHAMP! Â Thank you! Â So glad to introduce you to him. I consider him one of the finest guitarists of all time, and he'd be horrified to be considered a rock and roll star, but, he is. And he can be very addictive to listen to and watch....Rock on Shaved Ape !! [thumbup]

pippy
Well, Thanks, XD. Â It's so difficult to leave out the likes of BB King, Rory Gallagher, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Steve Howe, Chet Atkins...and on and on and on! Â I did very much like the fact that your list included names which might be unfamiliar to quite a few folk and they can 'discover' more great guitarists. Â P.
