surfpup
Rosewood cap top and bottom over spruce center. I guess solid Rosewood might be a bit heavy. Nice looking Tele, Cookie. Enjoy

bonzoboy
Congrats on your new Tele-she's just stunning-I've loved Rosewood Teles since I saw and Heard George Harrison use one.A lot of people are under the impression that Teles are strictly country guitars but players such as Roy Buchannan,Jeff Beck,Pete Townshend,Patti Smyth,Albert Collins and of course George Harrison blow that myth out of the water. When I put my Tele through my Blues Jr. and roll back the tone to about 4 or 5 I can get some of the sweetest blues tones this side of the Mississippi.I'm sure that you'll find that the Tele is one sweet and versatile guitar-especially your Rosewood model.
