quapman
I'm going way back to 75. It would easily have to be Roxy Roller by Sweeney Todd. Number 1 in the Canadian charts for 3 weeks. I was 14 at the time and this was about the coolest song we were listening to. This is the biggest one hit wonder I can think of. After this one I might put Black Betty by Ram Jam in second. I don't think they did much after that tune.
Rabs
I liked this tune when it came out.. Very cheesy but I liked it back then :P http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWHOF_0-6Hg

BigKahune
. Ahhh . . . guilty pleasures. Here's one of my favs - The Breakup Song by the Greg Kihn Band. It went to #15 in '81. They had a #2 in '83 with Jeopardy, which had the distinction of being parodied by Weird Al. So kind of a two-hit wonder. This live version really shows of the bar band quality of this gem. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMVyH_aR_Cw
