  1. If you drink standard green tea, which contains caffeine, with no adverse effects, than it's not the caffeine in the coffee that was doing you harm, but the sugar. It should be completely eliminated from the diet by this age anyway. Keep it up!
  2. Doesn't matter for Royal Mail - if there is no such regulations, that forbids private businesses to do their business. Economic freedom rulez! Slovenia is off the map, because it is a hard-line communist jamahiriya. But did you know, that Germany has all stores (including groceries) mandatorily closed on Sundays? Most of the EU is totally lost in bureaucracy, regulative hysteria & plain old foolishness. The other day I saw two UK guitar shops (Andertons, GuitarGuitar) having their Gibson lineups fully refreshed with new arrivals. Very refreshing. We don't even dream of that in the EU. (And I am still waiting for the ES-335, ordered and paid 10% in advance in May of 2020 🤣).
  3. USA is special in every way, most of the world is still lost somewhere in the 16th century.... I am from Europe, they close all stores (and government and non-government "public" institutions) on Sundays, except for gas stations. They say neo-liberalism has attacked their way of life, high up in the trees. Communism is rampant!
  4. That's progress! 👍 But what impresses me most, has nothing to do with guitars. Looks like UK is the last place on earth, where the mail can reach you even on a Sunday, and where physical stores are open. That's good, because economic activity - without which there'd be no civilization - has enabled humanity, to climb down from the proverbial tree. Too bad so many are striving, to climb back up again. Like in most of Europe, for example. 😫
  5. I never knew these guys in the years after L.Skynyrd... the music/style is immediately recognizable, almost like coming home. THANX! 👍
  6. The fretboard is incredibly red. Indian Rosewood? Do you know what pickups are those? Guitar looks great! 👍
  7. If it gets "very cool" at night (open windows?) there might be a big difference in temperatures. Casing guitars overnight does mitigate that.
  8. Go to the biggest physical store in your area and tell them to recommend you a luthier. Then just go there with your guitar. Guitar stores also usually have them listed on their websites, under "servicing for guitars" or similar moniker. ("Luthier" is just an ancient form of the word for "guitar servicing shop", which is used nowadays, when there is very little artisanship left in the economic landscape.)
  9. This album is incredibly important, remix or not.
  10. That's what I like about this forum - it's great! 🤣
  11. Great pics and the guitar looks great! 👍 Parts: there's a wasteland out there, still recovering from #COVD lockdowns. Nobody had any idea about how long these shortages will last.
  12. And the rice is not guaranteed?
  13. Sometimes they do software updates to the forum, and maybe it's offline for a few minutes. This might be what a "partial offline" looks like. And maybe nothing to do with your specific account. As Bruce Willis put it in Die Hard and Die Hard-2: "at the wrong place at the wrong time".
  14. Wow, the flame over that grain! Just curious, what was it, that was not perfect on the original setup?
  15. Incredible total control. Just wow.
  16. PHASE deals only with situations with 2 (or more) pickups being active. The switch just reverses the flow direction of electric current through one of the pickups. In-phase means, that both pickups have the same magnetic polarities and electric flow directions in the wire OR have opposing magnetic polarities and electric flow directions. (two distinct cases of in-phase) On the other hand, If two pickups have the same magnetic polarities and different electric flow directions OR different magnetic polarities and same electric directions, they're "out of phase". (two distinct cases of out-of-phase)
  17. Nobody mentioned 'ALLO 'ALLO, dealing with WW2 mostly in Nazi-occupied France. So it's very relevant today. It had quite a few seasons. English humor rulez, and more so when it's with a French or German accent. Or even an English one...
  18. It is, but only if it's on the end. Here, the last part of the DNS name is ".GOV" which is a US government domain.
  19. Interesting... 25.5 scale length for Songwriters.
  20. Both basses look great, I prefer this to any "relic job"! 👍
  21. That'll be, when they buy Philips Consumer Division again.
