Sad news. Those of us here of a certain age are losing heroes right and left. It has a way of bringing one's own mortality into sharper focus. Life is short. Buy the guitar.

I just don't believe how many famous gifted musicians have passed away lately. The big man up there must be putting 2gether another supergroup. Mr.Frey may you R.I.P. Amen...

and it won't stop now

Very sad and what a shock. I had no idea his health was in such a serious state.

Good thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

Thank you Glen.

Along with the Beatles, Glenn Frey and The Eagles were why I wanted to play guitar. It was so I could play those songs that I loved. Another music hero of mine is gone, RIP Glenn Frey.

A fantastic group & sound. Loved it dearly. RIP. Every day is a total blessing to just wake up. Young or older, don't matter.

Big loss, of course. Interesting that at least one of the news photos I've seen of him since yesterday showed him playing his Takamine. My one Takamine, since sold, was the Glenn Frey signature model. It probably wasn't exactly the same as his custom model but it was a nice sounding guitar, especially plugged in.
