Evilive1999
Merry Christmas Everybody! Might be going on a guitar safari within a few days. friend of a friend of a friend has a couple Byrdlands. I'm intrigued. A Norlin era, and to be honest, I love the Norlin era frets. and they actually feel good. Anybody here wanna talk about their Byrdland? The experience with the Byrd? I have smaller hands so the small scale is appealing to me. Talk to me about the Byrds!
Dub-T-123
Doesn’t Ted Nugent basically own all of them? I’ve always wanted to play a real Byrdland. Post some pics of your friend’s Byrdlands if you can

Dub-T-123
He’s an avid collector and has them all but you do most commonly see him using Florentine cut versions
jdgm
They pre-date Norlin. Name derives from Billy Byrd and Hank Garland. Rare now. Yes I'd love one!
jaxson50
If your passing them out, I'll take two!
Californiaman
Put me down for one Florentine model.
SteveFord
I would like one not played by Ted Nugent, please. Thank you!
01GT eibach
When Ted Nugent was back in the '70s with Derek St. Holmes singing, they laid down some great rock and roll. I would definitely take one played by him.
Retired
Make that me too. I'd play anything Ted played.

Beerad12
I love Ted and Byrdlands. Well beyond my means to afford one but if I hit the lottery one day I'll be in the market for one or three of em'. When in doubt I whip it out, got me a rock n roll band! It's a free for all!
sparquelito
Oh dear. I can swing the $178.75, no problem. It's the $14,000 part where I come up short. 😐
Retired
So Ted has a 10 concert tour for 2020 - 2021? Obviously missed the 2020 season.

A BB King Lucille would be my first choice.
fretplay
I have a 70s Ibanez copy. I'm sure you can't tell the difference, apart from the price. As they are no longer made they are pretty hard to find but a wonderful guitar if you can find one.
