chase1410
Thanks Jaxson! Your Tayler and Martin D-35 are gorgeous...witch one do you prefer?....(and the more i see that tacoma, the more im falling in love with it...)
jaxson50
The Taylor has the better action and because it has a on board eq is better when plugged in, but the D-35 blows it out of the water when unplugged. The Martin is a boomer, that 3 piece back will shake your belly. But the Taylor is more comfortable to play. The Tacoma was built before the Fender take over, I bought it new. It is a unbelievable player, if you ever get a chance to play one you will see what I mean. Look at the picture of the neck at the cutaway, see how the fingerboard is raised? It is so easy to play the upper register, the sound is so balanced all the way up the neck and when you put your hand in the cut away it feels like a glove...The volume and tone controls are mounted under the pickgard, very cool. Gibson4life
Electrics Acoustics I really like your collection. I am in love with your Casino, and have been thinking about getting 1965 JL Casino and slapping a bigsby on it. How do you like yours?
Riffster
Thanks, Casinos are very unique guitars. I like mine OK, sounds great either unplugged or plugged. Pros: stock pickups are good, bigsby is great and it adds shimmer, completely hollow body has unique sound. Very cool looking guitar. Cons: very thin neck and neck width, not for everybody. Finish is too thick. Tuners don't hold tune after using bigsby even with a well-cut bone nut. Maybe some big bends nut sauce would help. Feedbacks easily with any gain. Dub-T-123
The Strat is my bandmate's. I have other guitars but these are my good ones.
