do les paul's look better with the pickguard or without it?

Recommended Posts

Some look better with while others look better without. It depends on the finish and the color. For instance, I feel my Tak Matsumoto would look rediculous with the PG on and it would be a shame to cover up that gorgous top. To me, the Standard Plus, though she has a beautiful top too, just looks right with the pick gaurd.

I hate polls, as often enough, the op doesn't include enough choices.....it ain't cut and dried/black and white....depends on the guitar's finish, parts, etc, and it entirely depends on the owner....who cares what others think. I like my pguard on sometimes, I like it off many times ..... qff and on - where's my choice ???!!!???B)

I agree with Svet and RSDx.

It depends on a lot of factors. It's not just a simple "on or off" answer.

I agree, polls like this are just a waist of time and effort. If you want to make a poll, by all means, put some thought into it!
