EvanPC
That's a sweet jam, man. I used to take lessons from a guy who jammed with those guys back in the day.
rjay777
That's a sweet jam, man. I used to take lessons from a guy who jammed with those guys back in the day. They were the American Cream. Tommy Bolin did some amazing stuff with those guys after Walsh left.. too bad he passed so young. One of the major rock tragedies of the 70's. stevef
Yes sir! If you remember this33 1/3 album, the end of side 1 said "Turn me over" until you found the strength to get up, stagger over and put on side 2... Side 2 said "Plat me again",,, We usually did.. bonzoboy
The first time I heard Joe Walsh ripping out the chords to Walk Away I was hooked on the James Gang. He's one guitarist that always seemed to manage to get outshone by others even though he is/was clearly better. LarryUK
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JocjTXmqiS0&feature=related When I watch this I get shivers up my spine. As I've said many times before. Taste exells shred any time. I've never seen a vid of Satriani, Vai etc that gives off so much emotion. I love his sound. The 'Leslie' helps though. It's a 'haunting' sound. That'll be playing on my iphone tomorrow chaps. I LBT.
charlie brown
Oh Yeah!! Saw "The James Gang," live, (at Century II Arena, in Wichita, Kansas, where Joe Walsh was born)...in about 1970, as Walsh was still with them, at that time.
