The original music that my band has been coming out with has all the influences, musically and lyrically, of Southern Rock, Blues, Alternative, and Country. I don't know what you would really call it. People around where I'm from call it Reddirt or Texas Rock, but I don't think that really describes it. I see that Richi plays rock-n-roll but the post states 0 for that topic and BlackHawk plays metal...again a 0 wtf???? I like to play Rock-n-roll and metal as well as some classic rock. I am expecting another 0. I do math all day at work so I just don't feel like figuring out the percentages.,but I can't help to notice that there are 14 votes but only 11 posts? Something is amiss? djroge1 Posted January 5, 2009 Share Posted January 5, 2009 I have spent time playing a lot of different music - country, rock, blues, jazz, reggae, bluegrass, and folk in various bands. When I played rock there wasn't metal, thrash, shred etc... it was all rock. Today I guess you would call it classic rock?
