Rabs
Face It Alone, which the late singer recorded during sessions for 1989 album The Miracle, was given its premiere by BBC Radio 2's Ken Bruce on Thursday. "We did find a little gem from Freddie, that we'd kind of forgotten about," drummer Roger Taylor said about the track in June. "It's wonderful, a real discovery. It's a very passionate piece." The song is one of six unreleased tracks to feature in a forthcoming box set of The Miracle, four of which feature Mercury's vocals.
kidblast
nice find Rabs! I'll have to listen to this a few times to find the magic.. but, at one listen I like it. There will never be another "Freddie"

Rabs
I think its ok.. The lyrics are really what makes it, especially when you put it in context of where he was in his life at that point and knowing how ill he was...
brad1
His voice sounds great. The song is OK. I can see why they forgot about it. It’s kinda sad and depressing.

DanvillRob
I was never a Queen fan....until a few years ago when I had time to actually listen to them. Freddy was a master showman, and a superb musician and songwriter. And who could deny that Brian May could carry any band by himself. Great find....bittersweet song.... I like it. Whitefang
I didn't like it all that much, but will say this..... It IS better than most songs that get labeled "previously unreleased" years later. Why it took this long to release it at all is the question needs answering. IanHenry
It sounds like the music for a Bond movie to me. Anyone interested in Queen should listen to the "On Air" The BBC Sessions, it's really good, mostly their early stuff but more "pure & less produced" sound than their album versions. Rabs
Out of interest.. My 13 year old niece has recently gotten in to rock music and her absolute favourite (at the moment) is Queen.. I asked her today if she liked the new song and to my surprise she said yes, she really likes it which I thought was interesting coming from someone so young ( in fact she was the one who told me last week that this release was coming). jaxson50
A very personal and dark song by a man facing his end, not the typical uplifting of witty stuff Queen did. There's a foreboding vibe to. Reminded me of Blood Rock's song that was so gloomy it was barred from airplay.
Sgt. Pepper
The song does nothing for me. I was done buying Queens music after The Game. I can see why it did't make the cut.
